Information collected when you visit
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive standard technical information with each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Hosting providers typically keep this in server logs for security and troubleshooting. We don't use it to identify you.
Third-party services this site loads
The fonts and icons used on this site are served from our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your details to a font or icon provider. One third-party file remains:
- SiteGround (siteground.com) serves the banner image shown on article pages, so SiteGround receives your IP address and basic browser information when a page with that banner loads. See SiteGround's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site and go to the provider's website. That provider, or the affiliate network it uses, may set cookies to record that you came from PlainWP so the referral can be credited. From that point on, their privacy policy applies, not ours. Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California, you have rights over your personal data. These include the right to access it, correct it, delete it, and object to how it's processed. Because this site doesn't collect personal data directly, we usually won't hold anything about you.
